Dear SBBKA Members,

We are excited to share some news from our colleagues at the Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association (LBKA) regarding their upcoming Bee Health Day. The event has received an overwhelming response, with 70 applications submitted! This tremendous interest underscores the vital importance of bee health and the commitment of beekeepers across our community.

However, to ensure a high-quality experience for all participants, the Bee Inspectors have requested that the number of attendees be limited to 60. As a result, 10 members will need to be placed on a reserve list. Those who applied last will be contacted by email and will remain on the reserve list until after the event, at which point refunds for the £5 deposit will be arranged.

If any of our members have applied and are now unable to attend, please inform Andy at the LBKA as soon as possible. This will allow another eager participant from the reserve list to take your place and benefit from this valuable event.

Due to the fantastic response this year, it’s likely that the LBKA is already planning to organise another Bee Health Day next year in collaboration with the NBU. We will keep you informed about these future opportunities.

Thank you for your understanding and continued dedication to bee health.
